OUR MISSION
TV-Radio.com, a subsidiary of France Telecom has built the largest virtual radio broadcasting station in the world directed towards the global French speaking community. The idea behind the project was to deliver live audio streams to all French speaking listeners around the globe, there are now 150 radio stations realizing this today.
Telemak was brought on board to offer technical consultation on the development and implementation of this project. Telemak set up and configured all the hardware and software on the encoding stations providing consultation and programming in AppleScript for the QuickTime player. In addition, we developed a Remote Maintenance Crash Recovery system allowing for the automated re-installation of system software when necessary. Our Robocaster product played a role in automatically re-starting audio streams if they were down in addition to its role of automatising the live work flow process.
