Niagara™ Streaming Systems Overview
The ViewCast Niagara family of streaming video encoders and servers have been designed from the ground up to provide reliable, pre-configured, plug-and-play solutions enabling you to quickly implement broadcast premium quality audio and video over the Internet or corporate enterprise.
Viewcast began by using their award-winning, industry-leading Osprey streaming video capture and CODEC boards. They integrated these Osprey analog and digital capture boards and CODEC's into the powerful, reliable, and cost-effective Niagara platforms. Then, they added their Niagara SCX software for full-featured remote workflow automation and control.
The result is fully-optimized and tested 1U, 2U, and portable Niagara baseline system platforms.
These plug-and-play streaming solutions are ideal for virtually any streaming, archiving, or video production application.
Additionally, there are a variety of hardware and software options and bundles that are available for all Niagara system products.
